Establish a clear division of equipment

Process long messages, large files and collaborate with multiple people on your computer, receive emergency reminders and complete quick replies on your mobile phone. After logging in to the same account, first check the device name and active sessions to make sure they are the device you are using.

Transfer files in a more organized manner

Use clear filenames before sending, and supplement the message with version, purpose, and expiration date. After downloading, archive it by project to avoid long-term accumulation of sensitive files on the desktop and download directory.

Control notifications instead of turning off communication

  • Keep reminders for important contacts and work groups.
  • Mute high-frequency but non-urgent channels.
  • Use the system focus mode to establish a non-disruption period.
  • Regularly clean up subscriptions that are no longer needed.
The goal of notification settings is not to "turn all on" or "all off", but to allow information that really requires action to appear in a timely manner.

Do light organization once a week

Check downloads, pinned conversations, mute lists, and active devices. A few minutes of organization can keep the desktop efficient for a long time and reduce mis-transmissions and omissions.
