Confirm network and download source first

Public WiFi names may be spoofed. Confirm the network name with site staff and avoid entering account and password unrelated to the Internet on the connection page. The client should be obtained from the download page of this site or a trusted application store.

Leave less traces when sharing computers

  • Do not allow the browser or system to save passwords.
  • Exit the device from the account settings after use.
  • Delete the temporarily downloaded chat files and empty the Recycle Bin.
  • Don't handle sensitive data on untrusted devices.

Check login device

After logging in to a new device, view active sessions in real time. If you find an unknown device, location, or time, you should immediately terminate the session, update your credentials, and check security settings such as recovery email.

Any message asking for verification codes, recovery information or remote control permissions is worthy of vigilance. Official support will not ask you to forward the verification code to others.

Check again after leaving

Once back on a trusted network, check active sessions and key settings again. If a device is ever out of sight or displays unusual pop-ups, it should be considered an untrusted device.
